We are looking for a coordinator to support our Marketing Planning and Campaigns Manager with end-to-end campaign process which includes planning, content ideation, channel monitoring, reporting and competitor audits. You’ll also support event coordination, with fresh ideas and the project and organisational skills to support an innovative visitor experience and sector-leading events.

 

You’ll work closely with delivery teams to support multichannel campaign and events planning and delivery – all geared towards attracting and converting prospective students.

 

This role offers the exciting opportunity to work with stakeholders from across the University to deliver a portfolio of activity to support student recruitment targets.

Key Accountabilities

  • In collaboration with the Marketing Planning and Campaign Manager and Marketing Events Manager, support the development and delivery of high-quality pre-application marketing-led campaigns and events for student recruitment
  • Support the organisation and delivery of Open Days (both online and on campus)
  • Support the organisation and delivery of online thematic webinars and information, advice, and guidance sessions
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our virtual event platform to support the setup, delivery, and development of innovative virtual events
  • Use audience insight and user needs to shape and implement effective student recruitment campaigns to attract and convert prospective students, reflecting University priorities and objectives
  • Evaluate the success and return on investment of campaigns and events throughout the student decision-making cycle
  • Develop a range of marketing assets to support the effective delivery of campaigns and events. From programmes to banners, and from physical signage to video production, you’ll work across a variety of collateral

 

The Person

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a higher education marketing and/or student recruitment role
  • Experience of supporting the development of campaign plans and activities
  • Proven ability to plan and organise customer-oriented events or projects, including evaluation of effectiveness/impact
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Flexibility and a positive approach to tasks, activities, and situations
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills and experience of creating engaging and accessible content/copy
  • Experience of managing students to support the delivery of events
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to forge working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of using digital/web marketing and analytics tools to report on campaigns and of using data to make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent relevant sector or industry experience
  • CIM or related marketing qualification (Desirable)
