Salary: in the region of £26,000 per annum.

The role

 

The Supplier and Contracts team support a range of diverse ICT commodity areas including software license / maintenance agreements, associated End User Compute agreements and other ICT agreements. This role supports service users within University IT as well as the wider University including our professional, academic and student communities. The successful candidate will also work closely with external third parties including suppliers, manufacturers, software developers and other key external groups.

First and foremost, candidates should have a passion for personal development. You will be comfortable working across a range of different IT software (such as Microsoft Office applications including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, etc.) with excellent attention to detail and a basic understanding of purchasing processes. You will be comfortable engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Exposure and a basic understanding of financial systems such as SAP (or equivalent) is highly desirable.

You will gain or build upon:

 

  • Experience in planning, acquisition, supporting distribution, collection and administration for all relevant IT commodity devices and software license maintenance agreements
  • Knowledge of IT related and software license market trends.
