Salary: £28,331 - £44,045

The Role

 

You will be based in Newcastle University London and will be involved in consumer psychology research projects that have the potential to contribute to the Future of Work.

 

The post will involve, conducting and writing a literature review, in an organised manner without supervision. Searching and identifying established scales from prior literature/journal articles and amending them based on the project’s aims.
Programming surveys on Qualtrics, which include experimental designs and conducting laboratory experiments and collecting quantitative data, without supervision. You will be analysing quantitative data using SPSS (experience with Structural Equation Modelling is a plus) and assisting with the presentation and writing of findings in appropriate formats.  You will also  be undertake other research tasks as and when required, by liaising with key stakeholders.

 

The work to be undertaken requires very good knowledge of consumer psychology research approaches and excellent writing and communication skills. You should ideally have a PhD in a related area, or have prior research experience on related-funded projects and a masters degree with a dissertation component.

This is a full time, fixed term post for the duration of 6 months.

  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.

 

Qualifications

  • Completed PhD (essential for appointment at Associate level) or have prior research experience on related-funded projects and a masters degree with a dissertation component.
  • MSc and BSc in a related field of Marketing.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and research background in quantitative data analysis via SPSS (experience with Structural Equation Modelling is a plus).
