Newcastle University is looking to appoint a high calibre individual as Director of Advancement. They shall play the leading role in developing further our capacity for effective Advancement and help us achieve and surpass our aspirations. 

 

As part of our exciting future, the Director will lead the work of the Advancement team in its twin arms of philanthropic fund-raising and alumni engagement and support. The Director will be responsible for securing major philanthropic support for Newcastle University, leading the Advancement team, and acting as the primary expert in fundraising for the University. 

 

You will join us at an important moment and will work closely with the Vice-Chancellor and President and other University leaders to help communicate the University’s vision to potential supporters. You will lead our philanthropy fundraising programmes and be responsible for donor relations, overseeing the further development of the alumni network and engagement programme. 

 

Salary: Competitive depending on skills and experience
